Comes out on the sixth stage if at least one red guest was reborn. The toughest foe of the festival and the richest reward — 3,000 coins to everyone.

Festival of Illusions
Flutes and drums are playing again in Giran, Aden and Crow Village: Hanaen, the Festival Supervisor, is gathering guests for the Festival of Illusions. Spirits hide behind the festive masks, and every guest you defeat may come back stronger than before — while at the very top of this nesting doll waits Zena, the Festival Mistress.
The party's job is to grow the guests as high as possible and take them down before each stage runs out: the higher the evolution, the more XP and Festival Coins you get. Below — how to get in, how the festival goes, who you meet there and what you earn.
How to get to the festival
Step 1Gather a party of two to five characters of level 80 and higher. The party leader talks to Hanaen — she welcomes guests in Giran, Aden and Crow Village — and chooses to go to the festival. Nobody to go with? The festival can be opened for you alone for 25 R-Coin.
Step 2The party finds itself in a bamboo grove. Nori waits inside: once everyone is ready, any member asks him to open the festival. From that moment there is no way back.
Step 3Untitled Shadow Spirits roam the field, and guests with coloured titles appear among them. They are the ones who drop coins and get reborn — hit them first.
- One entry a day per account, with one character. The entry resets daily at 6:30.
- The zone lasts up to 12 minutes. You can leave the festival at any moment through Nori — the exit leads to Giran.
- No XP is lost at the festival: dying inside does not take away what you have earned.

How the festival goes
When he opens the festival, Nori picks at random who comes as a guest today: Festival Masks or Shadows of Ancient Melodies. Both lines work the same way — five evolution steps and Zena on the sixth.
- For the first 5 minutes guests keep arriving: every 20 seconds up to 6 new ones, while fewer than 15 are on the field. After that no new guests come.
- A defeated guest may be reborn one step higher. The reborn guest falls asleep on the spot: it cannot be targeted or hit, it does not move, and a light of its step glows above it.
- When the stage timer in the centre of the screen runs out, the sleepers wake up and rush into battle, and all guests of earlier steps that were not finished off disappear. Every next stage lasts 1 minute.
- Don't want to wait for the timer? Ask Nori to wake the reborn guests right away. But mind: the guests of the current stage leave the festival at the same moment.
- If nobody was reborn by the end of a stage, the festival ends. Yoran appears to see you to the exit; 3 minutes later the zone closes.

Only a guest of the current stage can be reborn: for example, a green guest killed in the first stage leaves a sleeping yellow one behind with a 50% chance. The more guests you take down in a stage, the more there will be in the next one.
Festival monsters
Both guest lines give the same on the same step; XP and level differ between servers, coins are the same. The untitled Shadow Spirits (20 on the field, back in 10 seconds) give XP only.

Festival Coins
Every guest with a coloured title brings Festival of Illusions Coin (Time-limited) — it is a personal trophy: every party member gets the coins, with a 100% chance. The higher the step, the more coins.
The coin is sealed: it cannot be traded, sold, dropped or put into a warehouse.
Coin exchange
Festival Coins are exchanged on the event tab of Special Craft. The lists differ between servers: on Spark most exchanges also take Big Bags of Adena.

Festival ranking
Places are earned with the XP gained inside the zone. The top 150 is counted every day; the board is reset at 6:30 and rewards come by mail. The best 10 and your own result can be checked with Hanaen.

Event end
The festival runs from October 9 to 23, 2026 and ends on October 23 at 18:00. After that Hanaen leaves the towns and the festival can no longer be entered.
Festival Coins are only good for this event's exchanges — spend them before it ends.
