Octavis Temple, Hunter Stones and New Boss Loot

Octavis Temple is open again, and Octavis now has real battle mechanics. Black seals Dragon weapons keeping enchantment up to +10, new Hunter Stones go into armor and gloves, and coupons can be broken down and merged in Special Craft. On NewAge x2 world bosses and instance bosses get new loot; on Spark x1 world bosses get new moves and Armor of Protection enchants up to +12.

Items marked “update the client” work after the client update.

The entrance is at Parme. The temple now shows up under its own name in the temporary zones window. What changed inside — see the server sections below.

Dragon weapons

Sealing with enchantment up to +10

Black and the Game Assistant seal any Dragon weapon — Fafurion, Antharas, Lindvior and Valakas — keeping enchantment up to +10. The price is the same as for sealing an Immortal weapon.

FixedSealed Dragon weapon icons now match the regular ones; the Lindvior weapon hit effect is fixed. Update the client.

Power and ExperienceFrom Ferris, out of Hunter armor +6…+10 (50/50, Lv. 1–5). They go into the upper, lower and full-body armor. Helmets and boots can’t take them yet — their own stones are on the way.
Stun and SilenceFrom Ferris, out of Stun Gauntlets and Gloves of Silence +6…+10 (50/50, Lv. 1–5). They go into gloves; both can’t be put into the same pair.
Compounding2 identical stones give a stone of the next level. If you’re unlucky, the 5th attempt at the same step always succeeds. The current limit is shown in the upgrade limits window: up to Lv. 5 on NewAge x2, up to Lv. 7 on Spark x1.
SlotsUp to 3 stones in armor, up to 2 in gloves. Update the client.

Appearance

Agathion, shield and sigil appearances

Any agathion appearance and 31 shield and sigil appearances are registered in the Appearance window. Update the client.

Armor of Protection

Leather Armor of Protection got the same resistances as the rest of the set: Paralysis, Shock, Sleep, Hold, Silence and Fear +25%.

Descriptions of Armor of Protection, Berserker’s Shield, Wild Wind Helmet and Red Flame Gauntlets are fixed for every enchant level. Update the client.

Special Craft

Coupon exchange and crafting up to 10,000 at once

Coupon ExchangeWeapon and armor coupons can be broken down and merged: the “Upgrade” tab → “Coupon Exchange”. 4 coupons +0 give a +5 coupon, 4 coupons +5 give a +7 coupon.
Baium’s TalismanPacks +0…+6 are broken down into The Energy of the Tower of Insolence — the higher the enchantment, the more energy.
Up to 10,000Items that could be crafted up to 100 at a time are now crafted up to 10,000 at a time.

Honored CloakIs back in the selectable Cloak Ornament Coupon.
Auto-enchantWith the Enchant Scroll it no longer stops after the first attempt and works with the time-limited scroll too.
Collections“Sweep Arrows” and “Sweep Ritual” no longer give gear Power. Their Attack and Accuracy bonuses stay the same.
Game Assistant“Adena Pouch Exchange” and “Transcendent Shard Exchange” are removed.
Black WyrmMagic Energy no longer drops.

New loot

Queen Ant, Core, Orfen, Zaken, Baium, Immortal Baium, the Priests, Gorde, Anakim, Lilith and Elmoreden Lady each have their own loot set matching the difficulty of the fight: the harder the fight, the richer the loot. Immortal Baium gives the most, then Core, Queen Ant and Baium.

The full list with amounts and chances is in the “World boss loot” table below: it has a NewAge x2 / Spark x1 switch and a tab for every boss.

Almost all of the loot is tradeable — you can sell it or give it away.

Arrow volley and ramWhile Octavis’s chariot is moving, a volley flies every 5 seconds: a mark falls under those who stand still, and an area strike follows a second and a half later. The chariot knocks down and pushes back everyone in its path.
Gladiator’s shieldHits from the front barely go through — strike from the back and the sides.
Absolute stancesEvery 30 seconds he switches stance: in Darkness magic heals him, in Light — weapons do.
LootNew loot from Octavis the Absolute, with a separate roll for each party member: L-Coins, doll coupons up to Mythic, enchant scrolls, +8 coupons for Frost Lord's weapons and Armor of Protection, Immortal Ring Ore and more.

New loot with a personal roll for each party member: boss dolls — Octavis, Halisha, Frintezza, Valakas, the Spirit Kings — the Mythic Doll Summon Coupon, as well as Agathion, Cloak, Talisman and Dragon Belt +8…+10. In Valakas Temple each next boss is richer than the previous one.

New world boss moves

New mechanicsQueen Ant, Core, Orfen, Zaken, Baium, Immortal Baium, the Priests, Gorde, Anakim, Lilith and Elmoreden Lady got new moves: Queen’s Nurses, Core Generators, Baium’s Thunder Mark, Orfen’s spore clouds, Zaken’s Leap. A boss is stronger against a lone player.
Level 98Baium, Immortal Baium, Anakim, Lilith and Elmoreden Lady are raised to level 98 — on par with the other world bosses. Baium is one and a half times stronger than Queen Ant, Immortal Baium is another 30% stronger than Baium.
LootAnakim and Lilith give no less than Queen Ant, Baium one and a half times more, Immortal Baium almost twice as much. Elmoreden Lady now drops loot like Queen Ant — before she dropped nothing. Spark x1 loot table →
Iron Heart GolemEnergy Cores appear every 4 minutes: a broken core takes 3% of the golem’s HP, a surviving one heals it by 2%. Break them all and the Fortress Cannon charges: its shot takes 10% HP and stuns the golem for 10 seconds.

Stronger and richer

Scarlet van Halisha, the Valakas Temple bosses, the Spirit Kings and the Dream Dungeon bosses are level 93–95 with 40% more loot. In Valakas Temple each next boss is richer, the Blazing Dragon gives the most.

Zaken, Goldberg, Beleth, Darion and Vulcan drop the +10 Agathion Coupon and A-grade Stable Enchant Scrolls again.

Armor of Protection, Berserker’s Shield and Sigil, Wild Wind Helmet, Red Flame Gauntlets and Sea Boots enchant up to +12 with a guarantee at every step. At +11 — CON and MEN +1, at +12 — also STR and DEX +1.

Exchange at BlackArmor of Protection, Shield and Sigil of Protection, Berserker’s Shield and Sigil can be exchanged for one another and for +11…+15.
Enchant ScrollChances fixed: enchanting from +10 was easier than from +9. Now +10 → +11 is 0.75%, +11 → +12 is 0.5%. Update the client.
